It was a great Christmas! Here is us teaching class with the kids. We taught them “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and continued with other normal activities. It was a great class. Positive, happy vibes and Christmas cheer. There were so many tourists in Jardin on Christmas and so many people stopped to talk to us and see what we were up to. It’s always so nice getting people’s support and kind words about what we’re doing.

Here is our Christmas tree that Christopher had from last year here in Jardin. We are moving to another house soon so everything is scattered in our current apartment and there are tools and supplies all over so this tree has been keeping our place a little more homey in this transition period.
I was in Andes for Christmas eve with my friends. It was so fun. I went to my best friend’s house to give his family presents and get ready for the night. There is a tradition of going out to the bars on Christmas eve so I went along with that. Much different than at home. I would have been with my family at a family party and then maybe met up with some friends just to chill (while we await Santa…). But here we got all dolled up and went to the bars. They were open until 3 or 4 am and then everyone stays out and keeps drinking all night…. Interesting tradition… lol. I gave up at 5:30 and went to sleep 🙂
The next morning (okay let’s be real afternoon), my friends came over to hang for a bit then I got ready to go to Jardin to teach class (the class featured in the picture and video above). I ran into one of my old students from Andes who I have a great relationship with. Maria Camila (pictured with me below) wanted to learn how to say “Feliz Navidad” in English. I taught her and we took this cute vid 🙂

If you made it to this point, you get the reward of seeing a pic of Christopher and I from Christmas 2008 😉 oh yeah, my brother Conor is there on the left too. Oh how the years have passed…. Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for your continuing support.
